Waterways Museum hosts AGM 2003
The Waterways Museum at Goole had been chosen as this year's venue and the Dutch Riverside looked very attractive in the spring sunshine when 26 of us arrived for morning coffee.

The AGM was held in 'Room 58', a large dumb barge which has been refurbished as an attractive art gallery.
After the business of the meeting was over, Bob Watson, Director of the 'Sobriety Project' spoke about the project's work with disadvantaged groups and offenders.
After an excellent lunch, members toured Goole Docks in a converted lifeboat, a delightful trip on such a pleasant afternoon, or viewed the well designed museum displays.
When it was time to leave, we agreed that this AGM had been unusual and memorable. Several members mentioned that they planned to make a return visit.
